Extension of production facilities: psb utilizes new building

In the record-breaking time of four months only, a new production hall was built on the psb premises. This extension became inevitable, in order to be able to meet the positive business development in the last few months. In the new building [1,000 m²/3.280 square feet], the final assembly of large units, as e.g. complete psb rotapick high performance order picking systems, or AS/RS stacker cranes, can be carried out.

Very large gates allow for the easy handling of 2-mast stacker cranes (25 m high), which are loaded directly onto special trucks and transported to the installation site. With this procedure, the components can be tested thoroughly, already on the psb premises in Pirmasens, and delivered as complete units to the customer. Thus, the time needed for commissioning on site is reduced. The new production hall has been a worthwhile investment for both: psb AND customer.
