Mayoral has placed an order for an innovative systems solution with psb

After studying different options and concepts for its future development in intralogistics, being core part of its supply chain, the Spanish children´s fashion specialist »Mayoral Moda Infantil« finally decided for the most innovative solution with psb rotapick and vario.sprinter. For Mayoral, according to its highly complex article and order structure, it is a major milestone of its company development, to be highly reliable, as well as powerful, in fulfilling its customer orders.

Like psb, Mayoral is a medium-sized, family owned and managed company, successfully established over a long period – a perfect basis for mutual understanding and common success.

The 12 double-deep vario.sprinter carton storage aisles, with in total 72 vario.sprinter vehicles and approx. 115.000 locations, are linked to 16 rotapick workstations by direct material flows. Due to the straightforward and simple system design, the workstations are easy to control, and operate independently from each other.

The psb solution offers all possibilities to achieve Mayoral’s ambitious goals regarding future growth. It can easily be adapted to future processes, such as extended e-commerce including returns handling, offering leading-edge efficiency and flexibility in the use of personnel and installation.
