psb extends Gärtner trolley system operated by EDER in Luftenberg, Austria

In the year 2007, Gärtner Transporttechnik installed an automated trolley warehouse for the leading manufacturer of industrial mats EDER in Luftenberg, Austria. This warehouse will be extended during the next few months, in order to meet the requirements of EDER’s business expansion.

With this extension, psb underlines that the statement »psb is in a position to support all existing Gärtner systems further, by taking over former employees of Gärtner« is now followed with actions.

EDER Werbematten GmbH is specialized in advertising and rental mats. Main focus of the company is: first high quality standards, and the continuous effort to enhance the customer orientation.

On the ground floor, the cleaned and pre-dried mats are hung (one at a time) on a trolley and transported to the upper floors. On floors 1 to 3, the mats are stored on gravity tracks. Before being provided in the dispatch area, the mats dry off in the warehouse environment.

At the time of dispatch, the mats are transported to the ground floor again. There, they are sorted, in a two-stage process, according to delivery routes.
This project illustrates the useful complement of the psb overhead conveyor program of the Gärtner product range. Gärtner system modules are especially suitable for plain, simpler, and in general, manually operated systems. And: the investment costs for manual or semi-automated installations are comparatively low – yet, a partial automation is still possible later on. All this shows that former Gärtner customers are »in safe hands« with psb. The future starts today!
