UK Fashion Retailer has selected psb for the realization of a high performance storage and picking system for returned fashion items

The fashion retailer Next PLC has selected psb for the delivery of a high performance logistics system for the storage and picking of returned fashion items.

In order to support the continuously growing e-commerce business with an efficient returns storage and picking concept, psb intralogistics GmbH has developed a highly dynamic system, in which articles are automatically stored using vario.sprinter shuttles, and later on retrieved for picking on demand at specially developed picking modules (rotapick system).

The system is equipped with ultra-modern, energy saving modules featuring the recovery of kinetic energy, which is a technology psb has been recognized with several awards during the last few years.
