1887 Franz Klein founded a metalwork shop in Pirmasens

1949 Pfalzstahlbau GmbH was founded by Robert F. Klein. Their scope of supply included transport and other devices for the local shoe industry

1964 Dipl.-Ing. Robert Klein took over the management. He extended the conveyor program and developed manufacturing systems

1970 For the first time, psb GmbH Förderanlagen und Lagertechnik implemented bespoke system solutions and started in the warehouse technology business

1995 Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. Werner Klein was appointed Managing Director

1997 The name was changed to psb GmbH Materialfluss + Logistik

2007 The change of name to psb intralogistics GmbH emphasizes the core competence of the company

2011 Extension of the range of overhead conveyor technology, and integration of system elements of »Gärtner Transporttechnik GmbH«, Bischofsheim, Germany

2012 Company anniversary »125 years of psb – innovations for generations«
